Harry Jay Robinson is enchanting us with words in his latest tune.
"The Gauntlet" moves with a carefully-crafted beat and poignant lyricism. Melancholic, painfully honest and strong in his vulnerability, Harry combines lo-fi production, smooth vocal samples and philosophical reflections. He explains:
This is a song about those moments where you look at your life and wonder what would have happened if you’d made any number of different choices...This song is about those overwhelming times where you contemplate all of the hypothetical universes where things turned out differently.
Carving his path with this dream rap project, the UK artist blends lo-fi, jazz, r&b and indie to offer a distinctive sound. His second EP is on the way, so stay tuned.
