The first thing that caught my ear when Harrison and Jaleel Shaw's collab "Feels Like Yesterday" started playing was the sound of the snare. I instantly felt like I was in the room where this was recorded.

Blending classic jazz elements with contemporary energy, the 2 artists excel at creating an impeccable vibe that will not only please any genre fans, but earn the attention of those who wouldn't always dab in the world of jazz and experimental music.

This is the first time we feature Toronto-based composer and producer Harrison, but his work is quite the collection. He has had the chance to work with artists like Kadhja Bonet and TOBi who were part of his sophomore record Birds, Bees, The Clouds & The Trees (2023).

"Feels Like Yesterday" wouldn't be the force of nature it is without the masterful ability of saxophonist Jaleel Shaw, who is also the winner of Rising Star Alto Saxophone category in the 2014 Downbeat Critics Poll.

The synergy between the two is sensible from the very first second of the track and will leave you wanting more.
