When it came to the production, this actually reminded me a lot of Billie Ellish but so much more ethereal and sonically captivating.
I bring this up since this track is not your standard Pop track, much like Billie's instrumentals, "It's Better When I Sleep" is wonderfully decorated with experimentalism. From the use of rough textures to even tonal dissonance. Though honestly, the vocals is what truly caught my attention as they exuded a hefty sense of weightlessness... Much like when you're sleeping.
Even if you're a fan of an artist like Brighter Later, this would definitely be for you!
