Glass Animals are the type of band that feel like they scarcely ever put out material. Far from this being the case, it's just because everything they do put out is such genius, it makes me desperate to hear some more.
Luckily, my prayers have been answered in the form of new track 'Gooey', and true to it's title, the song is the embodiment of luscious, gloopy music that just envelops your ears. Cameron got it bang on in his feature of 'Black Mambo' way back in May last year when he said Dave Barley's vocals were "honey-sweet, soulful". Wrapped up inside a gelatinous layer of spacey synths and a drum beat that feels right at home in R&b, you've got yourself a sure-fire fan favourite.
