This harmonic duo unites the realm of rap with the family of brass and other instruments to produce a unique sound. Brooklyn-based Brasstracks recreated GoldLink's original "Dance On Me" into an electronic and tubular tune.
The horn-filled melody and brass line accompanies GoldLink's flow in a new, upbeat track. The jazz influence Brasstracks incorporates into their production, including brass, drums, and more, brings a new approach to electronic music, especially when they incorporate rap from the likes of artists like GoldLink.
And their live performances aren't anything short of impressive, combining horns with synths in a live performance. Not to mention–the team is heading on tour with the talented Lido this week. Tonight they're hitting up Vancouver and then off to Seattle, Portland, San Francisco and Los Angeles. If you're lucky maybe they'll make a pit stop in your town.
