If there's someone who can take the most probably saddest song in the world and somehow spin it into something which could potentially make you move your hips, that's your boy Giraffage.
The producer took a small sample of ' (which he used in "Close 2 You"), but soon after the initial future beats kick-off, the track quickly transforms into a beautiful rendition of Bon Iver's most emotional and captivating track which we featured last year - "Can't Make You Love / Me Nick Of Time". When I played the track the first time, I hadn't read the info, but the transition is so liquid and natural, it took me a while to realize that "turn down the lights, turn down the bed, turn down these voices - they're inside my head" are lyrics I heard literally thousands of times.
Nothing but utter respect for Giraffage for bringing back this absolutely gorgeous track back in our lives, completely re-vamping it and yet somehow keeping it's essence.
The track, tagged as #</3 is one of the best things I've heard in a while. Hope you enjoy this as much as I do.
