In May I first wrote about Gidge - the Swedish electronic duo from Umeå. Today, I am writing another piece with the idea these guys should be and will be getting soon bigger recognition for the masterpieces they have been creating.
"Huldra" is an amazing track but wait till you listen to "Norrland". A celebration of sound, an organic, electronic mesh that gradually unravels for whole eight minutes. It's just like a powerful short movie only it's music that tells an alluring story.
"Norrland" is on Gidge's debut album Autumn Bells and it's to be released September 23rd by Atomnation. There are two other tracks which you can listen as well as the the option to pre-order to album.
