When this guy drops... He NEVER disappoints. Part of the reason I'm so fascinated by the works of Giants' Nest is the fact that everything he releases sounds SO DAMN GOOD, and "Island in the Sky" is yet another example.
I don't know what it is, but this is quite different to Giants' previous works. "Island in the Sky" is laced with quite a dark undertone that's accentuated by that "wob" bass, but at the same this moody element is shadowed by glistening guitars and uplifting pads that rise in the backrop. This is among the gems you'll find in Giants' Nest's latest EP which is also titled Island in the Sky.
