The great paradox we're welcomed to on "Don't Know Why" is the juxtaposition between the comforting vocal delivery and the borderline dispiriting lyrics. I find that creates quite an alluring effect when it comes to the overall mood, and I loved how the dainty arrangement of the guitars swiftly gave life to the track along with the strings.
