Today we celebrate the official release of George FitzGerald's new EP Not As I. A collection of 4-track mindful and slow-motion electronic tracks, released via Domino Recording.
I've chosen to spotlight "Venera", which won me with the feeling of compassion exhaling out of the whole production. I love the perfectly balanced vocals and synths on this track, something that quickly grew on me after discovering the track earlier this week.
'Not As I embodies the theme I felt throughout writing this EP of wanting to slow down and take a breath somehow. Whilst everything around me continues to accelerate. A return to writing patient music in an impatient world.", George elaborates.
