George FitzGerald opens up the year with a new release titled "Gleams" - a track that's rich with a melodic charm and immersive soundscapes.
For the past year and a half, we've predominantly been treated to remixes here and there from the UK-based producer. "Gleams" is his first track since his Not As I EP, and it subtly feels like a continuation of that sound albeit with more of a melodic touch. I loved how the overall mood borders between hopeful and melancholic, and this is accentuated by the emotive vocal performance floating in the backdrop which acts more like a textural embellishment. I'm definitely hoping this is part of an album!
