Joy

First things first, I am a little bit obsessed with the name of the band. Gazelle & the Bear is just somehow so wholesome?

Most importantly, these guys make amazing music. There is so much going on in "Joy" that I think I will have hard times putting all of it on paper. I'm getting very strong Hiatus Kaiyote vibes, but a little less of modern jazz, but a bit more of R'n'B (hopefully this makes at least a little bit of sense). I've listened to the track on repeat and I love it in its entirety, but the change of pace/piano which kicks in so strongly kind of mid track with all the vocals getting intertwined is my absolute favourite part of the track. Too good.
