One of the most touching and saddening pieces of music I've stumbled upon in a long time.
The Scottish 5-piece are no strangers to us at Stereofox and it's about time to revive their music talent and share some of their sounds - this time a song called "Death Dream" off bands' recent album Painting of a Panic Attack.
White noise
I don't know if there's breathing or not
Butterflied arms tell me that this one has flown
Blood seems black against the skin of your porcelain back
A still life is the last I will see of you
A painting of a panic attack
Everybody has to go at some point. And no matter what we will leave behind, tiny bits of ourselves, friendships, memories we've crafted with the people who carry on, snippets of messages, texts, sounds, paintings - every thing, little or big, counts and eventually pieces together this thing called life.
Cherish life's precious moments, embrace when sadness steps in, hold no grudge, remember only the good and most importantly - try to focus on the positive side of things, most of the time. I hope this does not come off rant or preach, it's something I try to remind to myself. Hope it makes sense to you too.
