It's been a while since I've felt as nostalgic as when I discovered freer's "R.I.P. Soundcloud 2018". If I have to be honest, at first I thought it was some sort of a joke, but... we can all agree - that era is something many of us dearly miss.

This exceptional piece crafted by the Aussie producer blends a range of elements, including field recordings, ASMR percussion, harmonic composition, and slapping bass. A beautiful and nostalgic sound, elevated with forward-thinking textures and bass to fall in love with.

The track is the first single of freer's upcoming Emeralds EP. Anyone inspired by Sam Gellaitry, Shlohmo, Jamie XX, Monte Booker is a winner in my book, so I'm definitely keeping a close eye on him.
