What a pleasant start to the week.
A rather unlikely collaboration (but an amazing one) dropped on Friday. "Two guys who abuse punctuation", as I read someone referred to them - contemporary legends, producer/DJ Fred again.. & singer/drummer Anderson .Paak, seems to have had the times of their lives jamming in Eagle Rock, LA.
Their latest release "places to be", based on a sample of an unreleased song by rapper CHIK, is a feel-good, upbeat blend of electronic music & hip-hop that will kick-off summer in an instant. Aside from the energetic production & the said sample, we're blissed with an awesome verse by .Paak and we can't help but spin that on repeat.
