Flying Lotus showcases the more soulful side of his sound with the dreamy new release "Garmonbozia" - a track that deeply dives into pain and sorrow.

This officially marks the first release from Flylo this year, and it has me wondering if his direction here will culminate into a full project. Even though "Garmonbozia" sounds quite romantic, when we peel back the layers of the songwriting he is quite vulnerable and expresses great suffering. This is complemented by deep, hazy vocals where we can hear the weight of heartbreak. The groovy bass line paired with the punchy drums brings life to the instrumental, while the lush pads seamlessly immersive our senses into the experience.
