Blessing brought up The Kount a few days ago, and now it's time to carry on talking about the Canadian producer because of this smooth groove collaboration him and our favourite mr. Flamingosis dropped few hours ago.
This soulful delight is actually the opening & the title track off Flamingosis brand new album Bright Moments. Been waiting for this for a while, because let's face it - if you have been with us for a while, you know we seriously dig his funky grooves. I wanna give him a credit, because it seems the dude never sleeps. The amount of amazing music he has given us over the past few months is insane.
The 2 producers and their "Bright Moments" vision is definitely a reason to shake your bodies in the beginning of the week. A very funky 70s vibe wrapped with instrumental hip hop beats. Is there anything else we really need right now?
In addition here are a few words which he published along with the album. It's nice to see some familiar names like our friend Birocratic:
This album is a continuation of the hip-hop/funk hybrid sample based music that I've been making for the past few years. Hope you all can find your own "Bright Moment" in these tracks. Big ups to The Kount, Birocratic & Tom Ribbons in being an instrumental part in helping to create this album with me. And to everyone else who continues to support what I do, thank you so so so much. I owe you a bodega sandwich sometime.
