We've been following the work of Feverkin for a long while now, and I must say his latest release "Hollow Fire" is among my personal favorites from the eclectic producer.
Portland-based Feverkin is well-known for his unique sound that's crafted by sampling, morphing, and arranging recordings of traditional instruments. The deep and contemplative piece "Hollow Fire" is embellished with organic instrumentation such as strings and marvelous guitars throughout the melodic section. This is contrasted by rapid, high-energy percussion and this shuffling makes for such a fascinating groove.
"The second single off the Hollow Fire EP is the self-titled track "Hollow Fire'' - a mesmerizing demonstration of Feverkin's take on sampling and hypnotic melodies weaved across multiple tones. The most uptempo of the EP, the energy of the song is propelled by crisp drum programming and pinpoint sampling", they shared.
