Today revolves around jazzhop for me and thought I'd share with you this gem from April.
German producer Felix Hien, whom I had the pleasure to meet when he was in Sofia this summer, dropped a gorgeous EP called Have You Ever Seen Anything So Beautiful? via our Dutch friends Vokall Records. And "It's Ok" is certainly one of its gems.
The absolutely mesmerizing drum groove carries you through his majestic, light-hearted piano composition, solidified by subtle basslines. "B part makes the heart sing," he wrote, and I think that's the most wonderful description of this song.
