I had the pleasure of meeting Felix Hien in person a couple of weeks ago and I can easily confirm - besides being a talented musician, the producer and multi-instrumentalist is one of the chillest people in the world. An all-around great human being that today graced us with another funky, guitar-driven happiness.
Released via Vokall Records, "Chaser" features Gabe Costa and Will Eason who I've been keeping an eye on for some time as well. The talented trio has cooked a track that draws inspiration from class acts like Tom Misch, Yussef Dayes, Loyle Carner, which should be enough of a reason to spark your interest. To put it in a nutshell, "Chaser" has got it all. A throbbing bassline, tight drums, and wonky guitar chords that will turn head bop mode instantly on.
