With its dark atmosphere and distant, airy vocals, Fdluxx has beautifully encapsulated the sound of a bitter winter on his new release "Cold July".
Fdluxx, a UK-born producer currently based in Australia uses his talents to not only explore a range of different genres. Lately, he has been venturing into the electronic space, especially after the release of Mind Over Matter which we recently covered. And now, his track with Stereofox "Cold July" showcases a style of UKG that feels like a sonic journey. The drums are upbeat while the melodic portion is dressed in thick pads and a rubber-like bass groove. This actually sounds like a beautiful combination between lofi and UKG.
“The single is based on me being on the other side of the world currently (Australia) and how it’s winter here when it’s summer in Europe. There’s not a special story behind this single, just me diving further into producing Dance music and trying to make something different to the dance music I’m hearing now.”
