The UK's been an amazing source of great music lately (electronic & my fav - r&b/soul) and here's another reason why you should keep an eye on Great Britain.
Liverpool songstress Faye Donna Francis lands on our blog for the first time with "Overwhelming" - a warm & melancholic r&b tune, reminiscent of Jorja Smith but with a cinematic touch & with Faye's special spice on the vocals.
The song is part of her EP Process - a 4-song collection, exploring topics like mental health, personal growth, and self-acceptance - with each song focusing on a different aspect of her journey between ages 19-24.
“Process is a project about the first few years of living in your twenties and being completely vulnerable about the experiences I faced. In doing so, I hope I find like-minded people who also unsuccessfully are managing their twenties and can relate / start to have real conversations about what they as young adults are experiencing too,” Faye shares.
