I clearly remember it was a normal day in the office where I work, like wake-up-breakfast-shower-work-lunch-work-walk-dinner kind of day. So it seemed. Until my boss, who by the way has a great taste in music, played some smooth funky/reggae tune that immediately grabbed my attention. That's how I stumbled upon the positive vibe of Fat Freddy's Drop hailing all the way from New Zealand (a dream destination).
The seven-piece Wellington-based band have been around for more than 10 years and have few critically acclaimed albums but for some reason have always been under my radar. Enjoy the positivism pouring out of those notes and have a nice day, folks!
