It's Friday and there's nothing but good vibes floating in the air. This next premiere will definitely grow on those of you who love soulful music and smooth af hip hop flows.

The highlight today falls on Dominican American Julio Tavarez II and British producer and songwriter Elliot James... or also known as Extremely Bad Man. Fun fact - Julio was part of one of my favourite indie bands - As Tall As Lions. Their project features also a number of prominent MCs including Omenihu & Jallal who add their flare to the flawless soul / indie sonic adventure crafted by the duo.

I wanted Extremely Bad Man to be raw. Most of the takes were one shot, scratch vocals that are not tuned or cleaned up that much. You can hear imperfections all over the record. It’s very honest.

I have to say, it's a rare occurrence to see such a fluid and perfectly matched blend of indie, rock, hip hop and soul music. These guys are definitely onto something!

"Bombae Lemonade" will be included in their upcoming full-length LP Love Is Pure is will be available everywhere via AWAL & Blossöm Records on July 13th.
