Ever since their breakthrough single, “Pyre“, London duo Equals has been slowly establishing themselves as one of the most promising electronic R&B and soul acts.
The duo consisting of James Low and Ade Omotayo hasn't put a foot wrong since their debut single and with "Old Habits" they continue to showcase their artistry.
The song is taken off their upcoming EP Old Habit" the debut international release for the group that also features previously released songs "Single Soul" and "Black On Gold".
The soberingly heartfelt title track deals with the subject of alcoholism and does so in a dignified manner. It’s a fantastic track from start to finish where silky smooth R&B electronics sit alongside the heartfelt inflections of Omotayo's voice, a powerful verse from rapper Essa brings the whole piece together.
This track is by far one of their best track’s to date, and the EP is shaping up to be an absolute stunner.
