It’s been nearly five years since Australian duo, Luke Steele and Nick Littlemore, captured fans hearts with their glittery synth pop charm. For all my fellow Empire of the Sun fans, the time has finally arrived for new mythical tales and eccentric costumes. And a long time coming it has been!
If "Alive," the first single off their sophomore album is any indication of what’s to come, then it seems like Empire of the Sun hasn’t missed a beat. It gives us a taste of that scintillating electro pop we have been so patiently waiting for since their 2008 debut album Walking on a Dream. And with the warmer weather just around the corner, I imagine this catchy indie tune will be right at the top of everyone’s summer playlist. I know I’ve already added it to mine.
