While the number of times I've been out of my flat this week can be counted on my right hand, it has been intense and busy week. I tried to wrap myself in work and 5 days rolled by super quick.

I just closed the last work-related message and I'm ready to venture back to discovering new music. I needed something to make me feel weirdly anxious and absolutely zen at the same time. Weird combination, I know, but luckily I found Ember Creek's debut EP Silverdrift.

EP's first track "By My Side" reminded me of Sorrow and n u a g e s - two names close to my heart. The sonic universe crafted by Rob and Andy (the guys behind Ember Creek) is definitely a good fit for what's going on with our world right now.
