The opening line of this track I believe is enough for one's attention to peek. May's songwriting is very thought-provoking on her latest track and invites us to think about various subjects in a different light.
Even though the instrumentation is quite minimalistic, it's beauty lies in its ability to make space for May's voice to shine... Enabling her lyrics to pierce through the stereo field. Each verse she essentially covers a different subject and eventually she ties everything in, particularly in the chorus. Her lyrics are challenging and the instrumental on here is exceptionally dreamy, we're given more than enough reason to circulate this track on our rotation.
