I'm not much into folk but when a track is as moving and gentle as this one, it's hard not to appreciate it. Norwegian singer Ea Othilde managed to impress me with her delicate vocals and tasteful lyricism, served on a beautiful guitar-driven instrumental. The track carries that sweet and refined flavour of melancholy, that takes you on an introspective journey within. Ea Othilde shares:
“Green River" is about taking on too much in life because you’re afraid of missing out. As a result, you end up with a little bit of everything, which feels more like nothing.
