It literally took me ages to find something which matches the Berlin's Saturday grayness and I had to just go back to artists I know would simply evoke the right emotions and feelings. I guess in the end, going to Dustin's profile was kinda like a no-brainer after the lack of success in finding proper acoustics.
All his music is just insanely beautiful and it you know, it's really, like really good when you're looking for solitude. I woke up this morning with the insatiable desire to write a lot (regardless of what actually comes out of it). Something which hasn't happened to me in a while because at times is just hard to find what to talk about besides the usual "music-related" perceptions. In general, I think that we at Stereofox (given the fact that most of us are not professional journalists) are staying away from the typical reviews and often go in a direction where we explore how a certain sound makes us feel (on top of the informative stuff of course). However, that's not always enough. You know, the moment when you feel a lot has been said and done and it is what it is. I guess then I realized that another "source" of inspiration is just reading, reading, reading. Anything from books to articles and interviews. That's how I found this and it felt right with the sounds you're currently listening to.
