Dusky's "Keep On" offers a smoother, more laid-back listening experience in contrast to the more challenging nature of "Reverse" or "Spillage".
This comes as quite a surprise as everything they've released over the past year has leaned towards upbeat tracks primarily suited for the dance floor. "Keep On" however walks a fine line between energizing and comforting - the rhythm section is decorated with colorful percussion while the emotive vocals offer a soulful charm. I love how this is complemented by lush soundscapes and glittery synth embellishments, heightening the track's dreamy allure. I can't neglect to mention the unexpected brass section that bursts onto the scene, adding a bold and dynamic layer to the arrangement of "Keep On".
