DUCKWRTH's latest release "Had Enough" is an experience that floats between dance-friendly and musically opulent, especially towards the second half.
LA-based singer, rapper, and songwriter DUCKWRTH has fully leaned into a more vibrant, upbeat sound in 2024. On "Had Enough", the instrumental is fleshed out by warm, spacey synths reminiscent of Darius and a groovy rhythm section with drums packing quite the punch. It's really his vocal performance that steals the show though. I loved how he is able to be catchy, and charismatic, and exude a sense of soul through his verses, complementing the oomph of the instrumental ever so beautifully.
