Enjoying a cup of coffee (or tea) over nice music is a simple but effective way to low-key chill on your private-time-island, isolated from the intense waves of everyday hassle.
Hungarian producer Drive dedicated his latest jazzhop track, "Coffee In Sumatra", to the beauty of simple moments like that. He shares:
I August I received a pack of cigars as a gift from a friend: the box said "Senoritas, Sumatra, 100% Tobacco". He said it is great to enjoy it with a cup of coffee - I added I might want to chill with it on a sunny day and listen to some jazz with sunglasses on at the beach under palm trees. This is how the idea came to write a warm sounding chillhop tune about this memory. I grabbed my guitar and wrote the main melody after I was done with the 1st cigar.
The track features joyful keys and relaxing guitar, married a wonderful jazz-inspired melodicism. A truly warming piece suitable for both palm trees and fireplaces.
