The London-based duo Doctor Gosso & the Samplers spin their music around classic jazz, boom-bap, and the Beat Generation poetry. It was founded in 2018 as these influences were very well put together with some hiphop elements that vibrated in a relaxing and laid-back mood.
The multi-instrumentalist Telica is 1/2 of the band and is coming forward with a desire to move his ideas into the realm of jazz, hiphop, and electronic music. "The Kicks" is the second track of their upcoming EP Beatnik Beats that they dedicate to the Beat Generation legacy and American novelist and poet, part of the movement, Jack Kerouac. The track is kicking in with a groovy lofi house feeling that does not let us slip away even for a second.
