Everything about this track feels like slow motion. Yeah the track is mellow with it's 92 bpm (roughly), though it's the tranquil mood created by the blend of vocals and the instrumental which inspires the feeling of slow mo.
It was honestly the blurry and reverb-drenched vocals that swept me off my feet here. Lucy's Mirror sounds as if she's delivering her performance from so far away which creates this mesmerizing dreamy effect. Additionally, DJ Poolboi's production comes across as minimalist and is carried by these deep piano melody's. Overall this is quite a moody listening experience great for those late-night drives.
