There has been a lot of buzz around DIIV's upcoming album Is The Is Are (via Captured Tracks) - the long awaited follow-up to their debut Oshin (2012).
The tune is way more positive and vibrant than most of their previous work, and while it still feels kind of lo-fi/garage, it's definitely a change in the sound (a change I personally enjoy quite a lot). Despite it comes out in late September when the summer season is long gone here in Berlin, I feel that the warmth surrounding "Dopamine" is something much needed in my music selection.
