Kayco's vocal performance and delivery are SO - no pun intended - angelic on her latest feature with DHANK on "Heaven and Hell".
DHANK is an instrumentalist and producer who traverses the realms of lofi and r&b. His signature sound is calming yet musically opulent, and I think "Heaven and Hell" is a wonderful example of his style of production. The neo-soul-inspired chords are brimming with sensuality, and this is accentuated by Kayco's distinct vocals that sound like a modern Corinne Bailey Rae. Something that also stood out is the vulnerable songwriting we're welcome to from start to finish as Kayco' describes the ups and downs of intense romance.
