When I heard this, the first thing that came to mind was the sound of summer chilling. “Between Us” is playful, exudes good vibes and most notably, has this heavy feeling of nostalgia attached to it.
You’d have quite a tough time trying to get the melody here out of your heard since it is extremely catchy. There’s actually a range of accompanying and counter melodies going on in the track, in the depths of the background and various movements during the foreground. The use of percussion and the selection of sounds are definitely among the causes for the “good vibes” on this track, along with the overall musical opulence "Between Us" has to offer.
