Hailing from Vancouver, BC, Canada, Desirée Dawson is an artist who I have loved to watch grow musically and emotionally. Having recently won the CBC Searchlight competition, a Canadian-wide song and music contest, Desirée will now be able to continue to share her music, given that the prize was $25,000 worth of music gear and some studio time.
Her track, "Hide", has such a lovely and important message that is pertinent to every single person: in order to accept and love yourself, you must not hide from yourself.
