Now, he created something as smooth, but this time - groovier. "Light Down Low" has a Kaytranada-ish beatwork, thanks to Sprill, and will absolutely make you move. DESIIRE explains why he switched directions:

A lot of the music I've done in the past have all been very structured. "Light Down Low" is for me a chance to focus on creating a vibe. I recorded the song entirely in one take because I wanted to capture the feeling of ecstasy and euphoria I felt when first hearing the song's production. The song is really a conversation with myself about my emotions. The idea of turning my light down low for me means quieting the noise and clutter of my mind and taking control of my feelings. Allowing myself to truly feel. Whether it be joy, fear, sadness or excitement. Not letting the ego dictate the direction of my life but rather focusing on the positive.
