RESCUE

It is always super nice to hear some quality music made in my home country.

I recently discovered DAYO and was thrilled to find out that they make instrumental hip-hop with jazz and soul influence. Just what I needed!

To be honest, I knew I would love their music, as 3 of the members (Bojidar "TromBobby" Vassilev, Mihail Filipov and Evden Dimitrov) are from another amazing Bulgarian jazz/funk/neo-soul band called SOUTHWICK. DJ RawLand and Vasil Vutev tagged along and it all fitted perfectly together!

"RESCUE", the first single from their upcoming, self-titled album features our much favourite SAÍGO, part of Kan Wakan and whose magical voice we enjoy in "Still Feather".

The album DAYO is out on 6th June, co-produced with Hristo Rachev and Dimitar Ganchev and with the help of MUSICAUTOR. It consists of 13 songs and features some great guest singers.

I already experienced it live in Plovdiv a couple of days ago and I must say - you should definitely, too! If you happen to be in Bulgaria this week, come and listen to them in Sofia, Veliko Tarnovo or Varna. Details HERE.
