Every few days I enter hype mode and declare I've found the best track in the world and convince myself I won't be able to find anything that I end up loving more than this one particular tune. While my hype fades out after the 200th repeat, it is that perpetual habit that keeps me going since 2013.
Right now, in my life, that track is DARGZ's 2021 release "Lou's Tune" which features someone I respect a lot - rummer, composer, producer Moses Boyd who first appeared in our Fox feed last year.
Fun fact - the 2 actually worked together on Moses' debut album Dark Matter. The track dwells in the upbeat vintage soul sonic universe, sprinkled with jazzy drum dynamics. Instant feel-good vibes!
