The duo tones down the electronic influences and brings front stage a lush blend of hip hop and neo-soul lullabies, wrapped around a thin layer of elements inspired by jungle music. Both artists grapple with introspective themes, exploring personal struggles and relationships, all set to an irresistibly upbeat yet airy instrumental.
This track has become a staple in their live performances, having been teased at major festivals like Forwards and Jazz Stroud earlier this year. The two are quickly climbing on my watch list for 2024.
