So stoked to welcome back Dann Dib, whose "TWIX" is still one of my most-played songs.
The Australian-born, London-based rapper returns with something more chill this time, in the company of a fine lady, Melbourne singer Holly Hebe (whom you've previously heard on cln's "Undone"). The result of their collaboration is called "hoodie" and tells the story of the simple things in life that make us fall in love even more.
The production, courtesy of Fred Irie & Kaine Johnston, features a captivating drum groove, mesmerizing samples & spacey synths where Dann's effortless bars and Holly's honey vocals float. Dann shares, "What is love if your partner hasn’t stolen your hoodie? This track is symbolic for people who’s shared a special connection, and that the little things have such a deeper meaning."
Make sure to stream/buy "hoodie" here.
