Daniel Caesar is basically the Canadian Frank Ocean. After seeing him play at the Halifax Pop Explosion back in October, I've been keeping an eye on this guy as he has been making big moves in Toronto and the US - collaborating with beauty's such as BADBADNOTGOOD, Kali Uchis, Stwo, and River Tiber - he's pretty much a dream machine of the North American r&b scene.
Recently blessed as Apple Music's new artist of the week, the man has, needless to say, been getting his fair share of attention. I hope that he keeps up this momentum and I look forward to hearing more amazing tracks, collaborations (looking at you, Charlotte Day Wilson, *wink*).
