When it arrived, I played it on a very warm summer evening, feeling bathed in the pristine melodies and funky basslines. The opener "License to dream’’ allows you permission to enter this lush realm and replenish on joy.
"Marimba Theme" comes second and brings a slightly more downtempo mood, but it’s so rich and enduring that it sounds sassy in a way. The beat reminds me of the sexy “Strut” by Metro Area while the sweeping pads and balmy tones come and go like harmonic, engulfing tides.
