Headphone Activist and Cloudchord. Some of the beat OGs here on the fox and 2 people I love and respect. I got really close to Pete as we released his 4-track EP Berlin a few months ago and after reaching close to 500k plays across the board, I'm happy to see his next journey via our good friends at College Music.

Their joint EP Connecting Borders is a wonderful zen trip in the world of instrumental beats. My highlight is "Attics and Basements", but I highly recommend listening to the whole release. A zen escape from reality.

It was a blast getting to work with Cloudchord, he really is an incredibly talented musician and individual. The project came together organically, Derek tagged me on social media saying he would love to collaborate, I checked out his catalog and a week later we had the first record done, over the course of the next two month we put together the rest of the EP.

Our focus was blending both of our sounds on the record while keeping the sound open and spacey for either one of use to add more to the final records. In short, we made something I am really proud of and have been listening to regularly to help calm my anxiety and stress. I hope you all enjoy the EP.
