By now it's an international standard that when synth-pop sensation Chvrches share new music, you listen. The Glasgow natives consistently hit one after another out of the park, and their latest cover of Bauhaus’ 1979 goth-rock single "Bela Lugosi’s Dead" is no exception.
Chvrches joins an all-star roster for the soundtrack of upcoming blood-sucking flick Vampire Academy, including tracks from Sky Ferreira, Goldfrapp, Bear in Heaven, Au Revoir Simone, Katy Perry, and more. The soundtrack is out February 4th via Universal, while the film is scheduled for theaters on February 7th.
Bringing out more of that dark, ethereal side the Scottish trio always seem to teeter on, Chvrches "gloom-pop" rendition is sure to leave a lasting impression as the credits role. Listen below and if you're a vampire buff, check out the trailer.
