Such a glory day for music. Honestly, after weeks of obsessing with Childish Gambino's "This Is America" I never thought I would find a remix different enough to fall in love with. It's mostly pretty bassy trap stuff, which emphasize on song's rather harsh parts. And most of them don't even close to the original. Today, however, French producer Pastel does something brilliant.
His gospel/funky chilled version of "This Is America" is a reason to re-discover the track and dig into one of the 2 rather polar "sides" of the original. Also, pretty much the biggest evidence Pastel is on top of his game. Hands down, one of the best remixes of the track. It not only reveals his creativity, but it's just... a reason to love the freedom producers have nowadays.
