The New Zealand-based artist burst onto the music scene in 2020 and has been captivating audiences with his fresh sound and storytelling ability ever since. For "LovesaDrug" he's wrapped up his eclectic influences to deliver a track that's not only spacey and dance-friendly, but also soulful thanks to his gorgeous vocal delivery throughout the chorus. He fleshes out the verses with thoughtful lyrics around love and addiction.

He says; “As upbeat and groovy as it sounds, this song is about addiction. I have seen people fall into addiction and this song is about my point of view but also the point of view of someone with an addiction, while they’re still in the ‘honeymoon’ stage”.
